To have your child baptized at St. Peter Claver
Congratulations and many blessings on bringing a child into your family and into our parish. We encourage you to have your baby baptized at the earliest possibility.
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Sundays by appointment only. Baptism Preparation Classes are held on the 4th Sunday of the month at 4:00 PM in the Church with Deacon Bob Kiley. Please contact the Parish Office at (860) 561-4235 to arrange for a Baptism Prep Class and a date for your baby’s Baptism.
The requirements to be a godparent are: the person must be Catholic, 16 years of age, having received the sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Confirmation. Only one person must be Catholic and the other person may be a baptized Christian.
